GET READY

GET READY TO TRAVEL!

We are so glad you are joining us for CrimeWave at Sea! We are ready to set sail on November 3rd. But first, there are some important things you need to know.

Important Travel Information

Guests should plan to arrive at the port no later than 1:30 pm on the day of departure. If you fail to arrive in time for check-in, you may be denied boarding of the ship. The ship operates on a strict schedule and does not wait for any passengers, so please plan ahead and arrive on time.

November 3, 2025

Plan to arrive at the Port of Miami no later than 1:30 pm. The Check-In process begins 45 days prior to our sailing. During the Royal Caribbean check-in process, you will be assigned an exact arrival time (if you have a choice of times, we recommend the earliest time available). You will need to bring all of your travel documentation including:

  • A Passport Book or Passport Card, valid for at least six months after the cruise. If you do not have a Passport, you may present a state-certified U.S. Birth Certificate (not a “baby feet” hospital certificate or baptismal paper). Guests that present a Birth Certificate will also need to provide a valid Driver’s License or picture ID issued by the government.
  • Health Questionnaire to be completed on the Royal Caribbean App the day before you board.

November 7, 2025

The debarkation process begins back at the Port Everglades around 7:00 am and all guests must be off the ship no later than 9:30 am. If you plan to fly home this day, we recommend that you book a flight that departs after 12:00 pm to give yourself ample time to get to the airport. Delays may occur at the port from time to time.

Once you arrive at the port you will proceed through customs and then make your way to the transportation center. It is your responsibility to arrange for transportation away from the port so please have a plan together. There are a number of taxis and rideshare services available to transfer you to the airport or hotel. If you parked in the garage it is a short elevator ride back to your vehicle.

Online Check-In

CrimeWave at Sea check-in begins 45 days before our sailing. When you check-in online, it saves time. You won’t have to fill out any forms at the pier. When you and your party arrive, you’ll just need your signed SetSail pass, identification documents, and credit card that you register online.

First, gather the following information for all the guests you’re checking in:

  • Home Address
  • Emergency Contact Information

  • Credit Card (for your Onboard Expense Account)

Next, click on the ‘Check-In Online’ button below. This will take you to Royal Caribbean’s online check-in. If you already have a Royal Caribbean account, you may enter your username and password. If you do not already have a Royal Caribbean account, you will need to create an account.

Once you have logged in or created your account, click on the ‘Add a cruise’ button and follow Royal Caribbean’s instructions to add your cruise reservation to your account and complete the online check-in process.

You can also use the Royal Caribbean App to check-in! Download it on the App Store or Google Play.

It is the responsibility of the guest to identify, obtain and present necessary visas before the start of their cruise vacation. Requirements vary based on the guest’s nationality and countries visiting during the cruise.
